There’s one secret word each day. Type any word and Wick shows how close it is in meaning: freezing (blue) through blazing (red). Follow the heat and keep guessing to home in.
An AI that answers yes/no questions about the secret word without revealing it. Since version 3.7 it runs on Wick’s server for everyone, on any iPhone and on the web, so the same question about the same word gets the same answer. With no internet, an iPhone with Apple Intelligence still answers on the device.
There are two ways. Race a friend: finish a puzzle, tap Race a friend, and send the link. Your friend plays the same word against a replay of your run, and they can play it in a browser with no install. Race someone live: Wick pairs you with another player right now and you both chase the same word. First to solve wins. No account is needed for either. (Dare was retired in version 3.3.)
Yes. The daily puzzle, warmth scoring, and hints all run on your device with no internet. Asking the Keeper needs a connection, unless your iPhone has Apple Intelligence. Live Race and race links need a connection too.
No. Wick is completely free: no coins, no in-app purchases and no ads. You get three free hints every day.
Yes, you can jump straight into a game on the web with no install, or download the iPhone app for the full experience.
Single-player is scored on your device; with the weekly stats switch on, cool guesses and typed questions are counted with no id. Questions you ask the Keeper go to our server (and Google’s Gemini) to be answered, with no id. Live Race sends the words you type to our server (and Google’s Gemini) only to score the round, never linked to your identity. Full details in the Privacy Policy.
